Thanks... tire fit is perfect. I like the way that looks. As far as the TPMS sensors, I'm curious, can't we just get new sensors and have them programmed and it's good as new? I'm confused why that videos says reprogram them over and over again. I presumed once new sensors are reprogrammed that they are persistent like the factory matched sensors.

What about electrical tape over the dash light :)

What the video is getting at is if you have multiple sets of wheels+tires - like summer/winter or street/off-road etc - you generally have to use a TPMS tool to tell the vehicle which set is on. Plus it saves money to not have to buy more sensors for extra wheel sets. Basically a set it and forget it solution.

Here are before and after photos.

What I'm most surprised about, is how nice the truck feels and drives compared to the small sedan tires that were on it. I was expecting a rougher ride, but maybe due to the larger diameter tires it rolls over bumps easier/smoother, or maybe it's new vs. older tires. So far I'm liking the Geolander A/T tires quite a bit (quite/smooth, but seem robust). Step 1 was new tires and wheels including a 1" lift (tires are 2" larger in diameter (215/70R15-->235/70R16). I accomplished what I wanted, which was a little more ground clearance (scraped in some driveways I frequent) and while I'm not big on appearances, the small tires are terribly unflattering on this truck. Step 2 will be an east coast gears 3rd member. I'm going from 3:31 open differential to a 4:10 with Eaton TrueTrac limited slip. Step 3 will be to get the speedo correct and fix the TPMS flashing light. lastly, I'll do some good detailing to get a shine where it's dull. Decided not to get the center caps. Will likely paint the hub center black so you don't see rust. I ordered a set of wheel locks as well.

Not wanting/needing a 4wd, but wanted to make my 5-lug more like a truck, and less like a sedan/el camino.

When I'm done, I'll post details like part numbers and so forth.

    Thanks everybody for inputs.

    These are the part numbers:

Wheel locks, set of 4: Gorilla Automotive 73631T Toyota O.E. Wheel Locks With Washer (12mm x 1.50 Thread Size) ($23, Amazon). This is a nice set for the money.

Lug nuts: PTC 98125 (less than $2 each at rock auto)

Wheels, aftermarket reproduction "hyper" color: ALY69397U78N (Jante Replacement Wheels) ($146, www.factorywheelreplacement.com) I'm really happy with these wheels and they seem well made.

Tires: https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/yokohama-geolandar-a-t-g015/p/27605 ($710 installed at Discount Tire). These tires are noticeably nicer on this truck as compared to the Michelin all-season tires that I removed. I suspect it's a number of things, but previously the smaller tires seemed to find every discontinuity and bump in the road in a punishing manner, and now the truck feels more steady and rolls over imperfections in the road.

I originally bought TPMS sensors at rockauto, but that did not turn out well as half of them were dead/dying. Suggest you just pay the fee at Discount Tire (60/each) to get sensors and save yourself the potential complications of them not working during an install. I want to say thanks to discount tire. They dealt with my customer-supplied broken and failing TPMS sensors very kindly and helpfully. Based on how they treated me with this non-standard tire install, I'll be going back to spend money in the future.
