As the title says , I just got my brand new 2021 TRD Off-road . I’m looking for opinions and a point in the right direction as to what are the must have mods , aftermarket parts , and upgrades for my rig.
What would you do to a 2021 TRD Off-road ??

I'd say sliders and tires would be a good start if you're looking to go offroad

What's the biggest tire I can fit with a 48" lift, and should I do the LS swap before or after the AC drain mod?

 

Gonna wanna downsize tires actually. For aerodynamics. AC drain mode first.

 

If it’s an automatic - install a transmission cooler - no wait, you might void your warranty

 

LED bed lighting kit. Complete plug n play for the ‘20 so I would think it’d be the same for ‘21. If I remember right I paid $45 - $55 from Salinas Toyota.


As others mentioned, bed mat.

 

If only there was a centralized place on the WWW that contained information on aftermarket upgrades and mods for Tacomas........that would be a good place

Thanks for the responses fellas ! I opted for the LED bed lighting package from the factory, so I got that covered. What i'm hearing form y'all is :
1) Bed mat
2)OEM power tailgate lock
3) Heavy-duty floor mats

What about a tuner module or something like the Pedal Commander ? Something to give it some more GO--->?

 

Theres nothing to give it more go that makes sense dollar wise. Just drive it.

 

Check the 3rd gen mgm thread, you might see stuff you like on trucks that look like yours.

 

Don’t think bed mat has been mentioned yet. Kidding, kidding Seriously though OP, bed mat needs to be a top 3 mod out the gate.
