Awesome vid, and I have been to most of those places. :)

I like Tundras, but I think this would be awesome on a DC taco. Also I think you could get a comparable outcome for a heckova lot less $$$ than $140k. I think it would be much lighter, fit/navigate through more places and go farther in rough terrain than this heavy monster.

And it looks like carbon fiber overlaying the stock body, so I'm thinking that was a waste of time/money. Supercharger, cap with door insert, lift, wheels/tires, suspension upgrades, skids and bumpers, LED and HID lights and.. well.. it sounds like we are describing some tw members trucks already.

"The Devolro Diablo is a Toyota Tundra that's been given the apocalypse treatment, including a 7-inch lift, "tank-like armor" bumpers and 520 hp supercharged V8"

Actually, at the 2 min mark you can see there isn't much for skid plates... and the big gas tank looks very exposed.

you could probably do all that with better components at a cheaper price by yourself or with your local shop, with any truck.

although, I do kind of dig the leather upholstery

Needs an alignment. Not a fan of the road armor bumpers. Interior looks nice tho.

Edit: Fabtech suspension... No wonder that thing was bouncing around in the little stuff. Coulda done better. And 35's on 20's, no thanks. Overpriced pavement pounder.

That video is ridiculous... All that money and armor and they didn't take it anywhere you wouldn't take a stock truck. I love the part where he has a spotter for the 4" rocks

Meh brodozer that went on "trails" any stock truck would have been fine on?

No thanks, not my cup of tea.

Looks like Ebay headlights, carbon fiber wrap - this is akin to a "tactical assault weapon"

Oh... my... god. That's a joke right? Aprils fools? No?

My gf's scion tc could handle all those gnarly wicked trails they took..

Love the chrome on the door handles and mirrors tho... "for that touch of class and sophistication when the apocalypse destroys everything around you"

Edit: Aaaand commented on video. :)

That was serious rock crawling though??

Agreed, nothing in the video made me go, "Wow, that's more capable than a stock prerunner taco.." I think it's just for rich guys with no time or interest in building up a truck who want a bug-out vehicle they think is cool to drive around town. It seems the poll agrees with me..

I'm guessing they can be used in a survival situation to brush your teeth or focus the sun to ignite dried up zombie corpses for firewood.

The single polar Hilux required two polar Prados (4Runners) to pull it out when it got stuck and when it broke its shocks...

wow...A lot of money spent on that Tundra with minimal return.
I do like the flat carbon fiber body panels but their is nothing that truck is doing that a stock TRD Off Road with better tires cannot do.
