Is this filter ok to use? Auto zone's computers say it is for our Gen 2's. I notice it is about an inch shorter than the toyota one I have in now. I just don't have access to a new Toyota one at this time. I also have an ac Delco oil filter that their computers say fits and it too is shorter than the Toyota one.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
If it's consistently coming up as a crossover, I'd roll with it. A bit shorter is not likely an issue. Obviously, the key is that the mating surfaces are spot on. Just look at the size of a 3rd Gen cartridge in relationship to its cannister. The element is pretty dinky in comparison. The Mobil 1 should be a good filter, too.

Been going OEM for awhile now, but when I did use mobile one oil filters I could never remember the exact model number for my truck, when in doubt their website allows you to match your year make and model truck with the specific filter, what I always did just for peace of mind.
