    Good Morning, Folks,

Thanks for having me on this forum. I need to give a little love to my 2011 2.7L Access Cab SR5. (I 'inherited' it back from my son a few years ago). Only 112K miles and in good shape. My question, is the Access Cab with the little suicide doors supposed to have the 'Radiator Support Splash Shield', the steel OEM part number 51406-04020? My truck is missing all covers of any kind underneath, including the plastic 'Front Engine Splash Shield' p/n 51405-04010.

I'll never do any serious off-roading in this little truck - I just use it as a backup vehicle for odds and ends and occasional dirt road camping duties. The only mods I've done are an LCE header, a throttle smoother module (Pedal Commander, I believe) and 16 x 7 alloy wheels (only a little more tread width than stock, same OEM diameter essentially)

So - do I need this steel piece? Does anyone have an underside photo or two of an OEM setup for the Access Cab so I can see how it fits? Toyota site doesn't seem very helpful. I'd also be interested in any 'take off' parts if you've upgraded to something other than OEM. Thanks in advance. Ken

The factory pie tins are really just that - splash guards. You can pick up aftermarket for very little. I believe TRDORs come standard with them, other trims/options may have them as addons.

Yes I would advise having that on
It will protect the belt pulleys fan etc from running over anything stray on the roadway and bouncing up in there mucking stuff up
Be it a bird or road gator or whatever...
If you wheel in salty roads it Will rott out hard

F Toyota for making dumbazz chizz material like that is
But the many new parts replaced are now smothered in sheep fat for protection

Thank you, Black97. I ordered both shields with fasteners for just over $200, saving quite a bit of cash on the sale.

Now if I can find a decent set of OEM-like headlight assemblies that actually throw light down the road (and not up into the trees!) and lose their clear coat within about 3 months of use! My old headlights burnt the yellow driving light lenses and the $100 aftermarket’s I bought are trash.

I just hope the tacky welded nuts are still on those braces that the back of that front pieces bolts into
The welded nuts on my relatives gen2 had rusted and rotted off

Those OEM headlights are definitely pricey and I need to get them replaced someday as well LoL

Bot one new mudflap with the 4x4 logo on the sale this year

Hmm; I’ll have to check when it’s light out again. I’m lucky that I live in the south (Alabama), and the truck has zero rust. That’s why I’m thinking I’ll make it a longterm keeper.
