Missing Hunter near Naches WA

Hey all, wanted to share that I have a missing colleague from the Seattle Fire Department. He is a well known Chief Officer and adept outdoorsman.

“Several SFD members have been in touch with the family to gather information and coordinate additional search parties. A group of SFD personnel are meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Whistlin’ Jack Lodge in Naches (20800 SR 410). Those who cannot arrive by then should meet up at the Squaw Rock Resort, 15070 SR 410, which is the search base. The resort phone number is 509-658-2800. All searchers should outfit themselves for rough terrain and cooler temperatures.”

If anyone is available to cover ground out in that neck of the woods it would be appreciated. Contact the RV Resort for directions on how to help.

 

Bumping this, I get the callouts for SAR everyday on this. This is a major effort.

 

Oh my goodness. This is so heart breaking. When I read the first post, I was hoping he was found and returned home. R.I.P. sir
