I saw it was just released the other day. Might make the upgrade if I ever boost my taco, but can't justify it otherwise.

Would love to hear feedback on it still though.

But why is the answer in trying to find out. My temps run up to 280 while towing my camper in south fl. Figured it wouldn't hurt the truck. I'm curious to see if anyone has done the install.

Can't speak for the Mishimoto but I did upgrade the radiator to a CSF https://csfrace.com/csfs-high-performance-radiator-for-2nd-3rd-generation-tacomas/ Temps can reach 120° or more in Southern Nevada and I've run hot a few times while off-roading so I felt the upgraded radiator to give me an edge. I also installed a ScanGuage II via a Blendmount rear view mirror mount for precise temp monitoring. When you run hot, you can shift into neutral and rev the engine a few times (to increase fan speed) and you can watch the temp go down. If running hot is an issue, I would imagine that any radiator upgrade would be an improvement.

I got the scangauge and I used toyota tech to watch it. Just driving 70 it was at 248. I'm not sure if I need it or if it's normal. Csf was an option to I just read of fitment issues.

I’d go for it. It’s one of my long term planned mods. CSF or Mishimoto both will be fine.

Edit: looks like both are the same width, but the CSF does says “50%” more capacity. I’d go with the one that is cheaper.

    You did say coolant.

It’s still kinda high. May want to look for an aftermarket thermostatically controlled external oil cooler.

Thought about the oil cooler.. figured my temps weren't way off so a radiator should do just fine

Oil coolers …I use them in all my trucks… Super great ..especially when off roading , slow moving..and with A/C. On.. Hawaii can be “hot” on the beach roads…lava rocky roads…
Oil coolers..best to get the larger ones…
    Aloha

Are you on the stock clutch fan? How's the clearance with the fan? I'm asking because the radiator thickness went up from 1.06" stock to 1.65" on the CSF.

Well I'm confused. What coolant temps are you seeing?

I don't think there is even an oil temp sensor in these trucks. It's an estimated temperature from some set of parameters.
