    Hey guys
I just finish putting together my truck bed sleeping platform
I figured I'll share it w/ you in case it might help some of you.
I did a lot of research and did not find any set up like mine.
Let me know what you think

That looks great! Plus, lumber is crazy expensive right now, so you really scored with that futon frame!

Gotta say, you seem like a cool dude who ain't afraid to roll up his sleeves and craft some furniture. Job well done. Where do you plan on overnighting?

Awesome job of crafting a custom sleeping platform. I bet you don't throw anything away or make too many trips to the hardware store.

Pretty nifty that it slides out like that.

If you haven't thought I would definitely coat the wood in some waterproof stuff I doubt wood intended for interior use will hold up to UV and moisture without warping and molding otherwise.

Personally I just keep an insulation and a ground pad in my water tight box and roll them out in the bed with my sleeping bags on top when it's bed time.

    I try not to waste....
I even re-use the screws that I removed from the wood
But I still make a lot of trips to the hardware store for other projects.

Yes, that is one of things on my to do list
But, that bed platform does not stay on the truck,
I will only have it there when I have my topper on.
