When I was in high school I took carpentry all four years to get out of other classes. We built a house my junior and senior year, bolted together in the middle so they could move it. Our teacher bought two brand new DeWalt sheetrock screw guns like that, corded of course. Two guys were using them and decided to have a race to see who could put a screw in the fastest. One guy slipped and put the drill through the sheetrock. Never heard a teacher cuss so much

Whoops! I guess you could say it was a learning experience, I mean he was in school right? :D
I’ve no experience with drywall, and am not sad about that!

Anyone got the 1 inch SDS plus? Can u give me your thoughts plz. Thinking about picking one up. How good is the chisel feature? Does it handle most of your concrete drilling task? Thanks

Let me know how yours works out, I’ve used mine 2X and it frustrates me to no end since it seems to have some sort of problem with thermal overload. I have to hit the trigger a bunch to get it to go, then it stops after a few seconds.
It’s on my list of to do items to take it to the authorized repair place next to my shop.

Been looking at getting one to replace my Worx that's on it's way out. Batteries are shit and I want to expand my Red ecosystem. Looking to add a hedge trimmer too.

Used it all day yesterday and went through three batteries (6.0 it came with, 8.0 & some 3.0 for a bit). Used all throughout day, no issues. This trimmer is powerful. I didn’t really use it in Rabbit mode, Turtle mode was much stronger than I expected. I may use it again this evening and l I’ll report back if I have any issues.

Now that I think about it, my Black and Decker did have a similar issue to yours, but I realized it was the battery and battery terminals filled with dust. Don’t know if this will help you.
