This may be old news. Guy took it in for oil change, odo flipped to zeros.

After 9 years and 1,020,130 miles, Victor Sheppard is reluctantly passing along his ’07 Toyota Tundra to the only buyer who could wrestle the truck from him: Toyota. If Toyota didn’t come calling for the truck, this rather inconspicuous-looking (considering the mileage) pickup would still be on the road.
“I could put another 20,000 miles on it right now,” Victor said. “I love that truck.”

Thats a pretty old story and has nothing to do with 1st gen tacos...
Toyota bought it from that guy and gave him a new tundra, because they want to take it apart to see how it lasted that long

I bought my Tacoma after one of my customers told me about his Tundra. The dealer made him a deal he couldn’t refuse on his 07 Tundra with 799k miles with no major issues. He walked out with a steal of a deal on a 2015 tundra. He would’ve kept that thing forever if they didn’t bug him so much. It’s still sitting on the dealers showroom floor last I heard.

Obviously Toyota didn’t think of that when they traded him for a new tundra lol

Its a 2 year old story and The tundra was a 07 v8 so doesn’t share anything with 1st gen tacomas, it would be better in the 2nd gen section or idk maybe the tundra section. Regardless its a cool story just don’t see what it has to do with 1st gan tacoma

He posted it in 1st gen, 2nd gen, and 3rd gen.

His spamming skipped the Tundra forum though.

What sucks is when people don't follow the rules of the forum (i.e. spamming multiple forums). It's clear the OP is trying to get to his 50 posts so he can post in the classified section. See post #6 in his 3rd gen thread - he says it himself.

No one is saying this isn't a cool story, or isn't one of the reasons most of us like Toyotas and hence are members of this forum.

The primary purpose of this forum is NOT to buy/sell stuff. This isn't Auto Trader or Craigslist. It's a forum for enthusiasts to discuss Tacoma related topics, give/receive advice, and give those enthusiasts a platform to buy/sell stuff when needed.
