Midnight black metallic thread

3-4 months away from getting my 2022 Midnight Black TDR OR 4x4

Haven't found a color specific thread on the Midnight black!
Was hoping to see how some of you dealt with chrome delete. Black badges on black would look so so but boy do I hate chrome.

Did you change the grill yourself? If so did you have any issues with the TSS sensor alignment?

It came with the grill. Its part of the TRD lift.

 

Love mine. Pain is the ass to keep clean tho.

 

Lol, hmmm, I’m not sure about that, attitude black is not sparkely and metallic. The midnight black metallic (afaik) has a blue base coat.

 

I said the same thing to my ex wife because she said I wear too much black……

He’s one of mine before I lifted it and installed the dual exhaust.

OEM black emblems (not overlays), black door handles, nightshade grill, black trim around fog lights. Almost done with blacking out interior.

 

Just got one myself. Really love the color so far.

So... It's a sparkly blue base black? Probably pretty hard to capture without the right lighting and macro, but would be nice to see a comparison. I'm just waiting for the Vantablack Tacoma.

 

You can see the flakes here and maybe a blue tint, this is my door panel after a fresh was and turtle wet wax spray and chemical guys quick ceramic spray. I can’t remember what it’s called…
