Just got a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ P3 installed, 305/70R16.

I had MTZ's on a Jeep JK and loved them! I was told the MTZ was discontinued and replaced with the MTZ P3 and that they have a longer wear life and are quieter so I went for them! So far I am very happy with them, smooth ride, quiet for such an aggressive tread and they did great in the rain. I will post more on them when I hit some mud etc...

    From the website:
The new Mickey Thompson Baja MTZP3 is an incredible mud terrain tire that’s been specially designed with a unique silica-reinforced tread compound for longer wear, enhanced wet weather capability, and superior cut and chip resistance. The Baja MTZP3 tread also features siped tread lugs with variable draft angles for better traction and stone ejection, and angled shoulder scallops with mud pocket scoops for better traction in mud and loose soil.

    • New compound with improved cut and chip protection
    • Four-Pitch SideBiter Pattern breaks up terrain for additional traction and adds aggressive look
    • Sidewall is reinforced with Mickey Thompson’s 3-ply PowerPly™ technology
    • Decoupling Groove added to allow tread to conform to irregular surfaces and to reduce heat buildup in a high flex zone

Those looks sweet! What wheels are those? Are they off of a 4runner?

    Looks awesome?

What'd they run you, just for the tires themselves?
