We swapped our old tires for some new Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 265/75/16 tires yesterday. So far they've been great, road noise isn't too bad compared to other mud terrains. No slippage on any surfaces we've tried it on, good grip, and fit is good-zero rubbing on our stock Sport 06' Tacoma. Last time on our old all terrain Hankook Dynapro A/Tm tires we took it out on Bee Canyon truck trail and we weren't able to make it all the way up. This time we were able to complete it mostly in 2 wheel drive :D

    Here they are:

Will keep thread updated with how these hold up and how they perform.

I'm planning on swapping out my Goodyear's for these once I wear through this set. Please update through the wear cycle. I know the duratreks are awesome at first than about half way through they start slipping in the rain.

I have the 33x12x17 MT's on my FJ, I've been running them for a little over 2 years. They are amazing, road noise is not too bad but will get slightly louder after some wear. Just make sure to rotate these regularly

We will update throughout the life of the tires. Hopefully what ToyoJunkie23 is saying is true and they hold their grip thoughout their life.

Had the MT MTZ installed January of 2014, I had the MT Baja claw prior which was also a very good tire but a rough ride at lower speeds. I had the Baja claws for almost 5 years before I had to replace them because of wear, I believe these MTZ's will also last as long. They still look new and amazing today.

It’s been some time, can you give feedback on these? On road noise, wear, and general off road impressions?
