I put on a set of Michelin x ice on my Taco today, couldn't find a set of Blizzacs . I'm hoping they perform as well this winter. We got some snow and ice today they were ok. Has anyone used these before.

They are performing quite well so far, the old xice 2's were good, but never amazing, they lasted a long time.

The new xice for light trucks is great, but one problem I've had is they lack tread depth.

So the Xice for tacoma starts at 10/32nd a blizzak same size has 14/32nd Waaaaaaaaay more. So better value in the long run.

This is just for arguement sake for anyone considering. The problem is availability, I had to buy yokohama 3 years ago instead of blizzak, Never regretted it, and you wont regret these tires.

We have ran them the last 3 years on my wife’s Highlander with just front wheel drive. They have been great, no issues. She doesn’t drive a ton over the winter so treadlife has been good, barely even worn

You are correct about the tread depth, how ever the Blizzacs are only siped to 10mm. the ones I swapped were at 9s and didn't have the stopping power anymore. These x ice are siped all the way down. I lost the performance from the Blizzacs. I was looking at Noken but these were available sooner. These are studless. If I get 6 good years like I did from the Blizzacs I'll be happy.

Their good tires, we put a pair of those on my wife's Outback and have had zero issues with them for the past 5 years.

So for I think they have been good on the ice and snow even though its only been a couple inches. I'm happy.

I have an old set on my '08 Accord, which is now driven by my father in law. I trust his and my kid's life with them in the winter - no complaints yet.
