Almost ready to pop for new tires. Have ran Michelins in the past with great results. Like the looks of the BFG's, just a little concerned about their performance (longetivity, mileage, handling, etc.). I do mostly highway/street driving, with some off road limited to dirt roads. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You'll probably be fine with Michelin Defender LTX M/S....they're one of the best highway tires out there and they'll be just fine on dirt roads.

If you need an All-Terrain, or just want the looks, check out the Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx. They’re a hybrid MT/AT that wear well and aren’t too noisy:

And where are you located? If you need a snow capable tire (and don’t want to run a second set of dedicated winter tires) it’s also worth looking at the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S:

No snow here in SoCal. I'm leaning towards the Michelins. The LTX A/T2's look a bit more aggressive. Might go with them. About the same price as the Defenders.

Both the Michelin LTX M/S and A/T2 are solid tires that do well on road. As you mention the A/T2 are a bit more aggressive.

If we can help you with your selection please let us know.

Looking for 265/65-R17 tires for my Tacoma 2wd Prerunner. Up until around 11 a.m. today the Discount tire website had a 10% off sale. Wondering what kind of pricing I could get on either of the Michelin's. Let me know. Thanks.
