I’ve used this tire for over 15 years on half tons and now taco. No more 265 in 16s.
Those of you who have used it, what have you found as good or better?
Only off roading is flat and sometimes muddy/sandy stuff here on coast at Fla/Ga line. Off road grip fine with AT2. Must have wet asphalt capability. Doesn’t snow here. :)
    G015? Terrain Contact?
    Those seem to be similar.
    Thanks

Removed those Shin blasters, added some nice 20” wheels, and slowly looking to level the SR5 in the front.
I am Shopping as well. I wasn't looking for an AT, because I generally do not go on Trails anymore. I would like a more quiet tire that handles the commutes. I know I know, I can hear your 4x4 folks already. I still may get AS/AT just researching, only have 5-7/32 left.

I was running michelins. Was almost going to sell my truck. Ended up getting 4 bad new ones. I work as a tech at a very busy tire store. I am also running 265/70 16. I went with Nitto crosstek 2. Cant say about mud or off road, I have a 4x2. Only off road is on the beach in Daytona. Very beefy, good on wet florida roads in summer time. Very very little road noise.

How did you get 4 bad tires? And not notice when mounting or balancing them?
How long did you have them on? Were you able to get a refund?

Installed aftermarket rims at same time. After 15k miles started weird things happen. Like being stuck in the ruts of snow tracks. Took rims off. Still same problem. After 25k miles cahnged tires. When we took off the rims, it was like all had seperated belts. Couldnt see untill off rim. Not even when rebalancing a few times. Thought something was wrong with truck. Aligned it 3 times. After changing tires, drives like a dream, or a taco.

Not sure what you did with them, but I know Michelin R&D would want those to inspect. Probably too late.
