    The OEM size on my Pickup truck is 225/75R15 But, currently it use the Michelin X LT A/S - 235/75R15 109T.

    Tacoma Pre-Runner
    4 Cylinder
    2WD

    I would like to change to following options:
    ============================================
    1) Michelin Defender LTX M/S - 235/75R15XL 109T Tire

    UTQG Rating
    ------------------

    Treadwear: 800
    Traction A
    Temperature: A
    ------------------
    current price: $137.99/ea
    ------------------

    ==============================================

    2) BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT - 235/75R15/XL 109T Tire

    UTQG Rating
    ------------------

    Treadwear: 740
    Traction B
    Temperature: A
    ------------------
    current price: 117.99/ea
    ------------------

    ================================================

    There is discount on both of them, $70/80 off, but currently I'm only looking to see which one is better!
    I have few months snow and most of time rain! There is only 3 months summer.

    I do not tow....

    Let me know what are you guys thinking !
    Anybody has any experience with them? My current tires are old and has crack on sidewall and i should change them!

    Thanks

    Michelin always wins. Both tires will work. But you will get more miles from the michelins.

    The Michelins have done well for me, just got a new set a few months ago to replace the worn ones.

    Michelin defender lxt ms are the best damn tire you can buy. I will never but anything else after having these. I have had Goodyear, cooper, hankook, bfg, Bridgestone.....the defenders have out performed and out lasted them all. They look plain jane but are all around amazing. I have 34s on my tundra and love them, gf has 60k on a set on her highlander and they don't even look half worn

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    I had a set (or earlier version) that came on another truck over 10 years ago. I put some crazy amount of miles on them like 80,000. I didn't think they would ever wear out.

    Yep same here. And I've had the BFG all terrains last some ridiculous mileage too. Wear like iron. Like iron sled on the snow too lol

    That’s a 20 year old frame in those pics?!!!!!

    What a clean truck!

    Love those tires. Turned our Highlander into an absolute snowmobile in the winter. They are excellent tires.

    Are they using a lug adapter? I have one I bought and insist they use it at America Tire/Discount tire. I believe they don’t teach their techs, my friend has worked there for 12 years and he doesn’t know the machines need to be recal but insists the road force machine they have doesn’t work right and he’s correct I have had mine done on it=vibes. He acts like the machines (Hunter) are always working but I have as many weights as you on new date stamped BFG’s ko2. That tire corporations policy is not to reject new tires unless over 12 oz of weight!!, shit that’s only 4oz from a 1lb, that’s disgusting and disgraceful. In actuality it should be 2-4oz max which means their tires are a bit cheaper because they have to be buying midgrade tires and selling them at almost full tilt. My Dad never has an issue buying and mounting tires from Costco... I don’t get it but, America Tire has lost me for good. Come to think about it America Tire has gotten my money for over 15 years and every set from low rider tires to prerunner tires have had some sort of issues, y’all do the math it doesn’t add up.

    Their machines only work ok on hub centric wheels I’ve noticed over the years. They can sell car tires and balance them but even my Subaru with very expensive Pirelli tires last round took almost 12 oz ea!! Bottom line I decided I will take my vehicles somewhere else from now on as America Tire is selling Blems it’s so obvious now! I don’t think road force balance can even help what they sell. I’m calling corporate on Monday, this has got to be my vibe issue for sure. I don’t feel too safe doing a high speed balance on the truck but that’s how I’ll fix this clusterfuck.

    Great tires. Never had a problem with these tires and Costco balancing. Tire price there is good too. Just had mine rotated and rebalanced the other day.

    I should call corporate on America Tire and ask for new tires after a rebalancing they take about 13+ oz. They are 5k miles and balance like shit even with the lug adapter you need to use.

    Ya one day I’m free I may be able to, mine has 10 ply BFGs so it doesn’t drive very well either! It’s all over the road. Thinking about going with a less aggressive 6 ply next go around
