Made the change and let me say, these tires are awesome! I loved my BFG's don't get me wrong, but I drive my truck on the highway 99% of the time! I have gained ~2mpg going back to the stock size. I forgot how quiet and smooth these trucks can be. I had the C rated 265/70/17 KO2's. I personally think the TRD Pro wheels look good with these.

Actually looks pretty decent. Especially if you're using the truck only in the highway. I know Michelin makes a great tire! Just put a new set on the wife's car a couple of weeks ago.

they're easily the best looking street tire to put on a lifted truck, if you don't want AT

I got these at Costco. With their $70 off they were $822 installed in Oregon. I went with stock size. P265/65 R17 for the TRD Sport. The wheels are the TRD Pro forerunner wheels. I ordered them from my dealer a while ago. As I said, no disrespect for the BFG's, best all-terrain tire IMO but I use my truck on the road. So went with the tires built for that.

Those tires will take people a lot more places off road than they think. They are considered an AT tire, at the end of the day there isn't THAT much difference until you get into a true mud tire.

Those are great tires. I had a set on my '88 4runner, surprisingly good offroad!

Selling the KO2's. Local pickup only here in Oregon as I don't have the time to ship them.

Yes, i was able to achieve much higher MPG on my old 99' 4runner than it's EPA rating. Great in the rain too. I loved them.

Those Michelins look good OP, and I bet will work great for your off road work too. I went the same lines as you, as most of the time, my truck is a car. I've got Cooper AT/W's, 16" though. Stock size on my OR. I love them, excellent traction all round. Nice and quiet, and smooth ride. I ran Nokian MT's on my last truck. They were excellent off road, but they sure sucked on the pavement, they also wore extremely quick.

Looks like big Prius tires. I have X radials and still they hold some tred and I'm surprised how well they have held up on mild off-road trails.

actually the ltx ms/s goes into deep woods and skidder roads just fine

can't judge a tire by looks alone. ltx m/s will outdo or equal many more 'aggressive looking' tires easily

only thing it obviously cannot do is dog paddle pure mud, for mud run sake.
