Anyone going with the E rated LTX M/S tires? I've had both P265 and the 265/70/R17 M/S2's in the past. Just had a set of KO2's wear out after 30k miles, so I'm tire shopping again. I like the e rated tires because you rarely get a flat.

Our SUV has 15,000mi right now and no problems at all (245/60/18). I just rotated them and remaining tread is about 10/32" with mixed driving (They claim 12.5/32" when new).

No noticeable road noise. I consider them quiet.

Did you go with the Costco TPMS sensors or OEM?

These are one of the most quiet tires you can run, you must have another problem. Might also have a defective tire?

I had a set of M/s on my 2nd gen and they were a pretty damn good all around tire. They wore well and had good winter traction. I got them used and put about 20k on them. The dealer was happy to have a trade in with good tires.

I love my new Michelin Defender LTX M/S but have a slight vibration in my rear tires at 50mph and above. I had it road force balanced and the back two tires came in at 49lbs. I have idea what that means. The dealer said I could have Michelin warranty them since they only been on my truck for a week. Should I have Michelin replace them? What does the 49lbs mean when referring to road force balance and is that bad?

I believe it should be no more than 32 lbs of rotational weight with the rfb, not exactly sure but I know 49 is too much. I had one defender that was rfb and came in above the limit and was replaced through warranty
