It's almost like they thought they were making a truck!

 

Whoever follows this guy when he hauls lumber will have a really bad time, it's gonna be like playing Plinko with 2x4's and windshields as they shoot through that "tailgate".

Honestly, that's the most hideous tailgate I've ever seen. Who wants a faux-cargo net tailgate?!?! Luckily the logo is randomly placed in the middle gap to class it up.

The Mercedes has a modern looking cab and doors, and the Tacoma has a 12 year old looking cab and doors.

 

A) The only similarity is the cab, which is because of the C pillar's hofmeister kink. The A pillar on the Mercedes is more swept back, but is a common them on most vehicles due to aerodynamics/pedestrian safety.

B) It's a NISSAN.
