yup, they're a conglomerate site that uses the dealerships in their network to pull the part you order from. I've used them a couple times but won't anymore, I've seen too many stories here and elsewhere of them messing up orders and being incredibly difficult to work with to make it right. It's easy enough to just order from McGeorge where most parts are cheaper than anywhere else anyhow

I did almost two months of research for OEM parts, putting it all in a spreadsheet, and McGeorge came out ahead overall. First LCA's/ball joints then later a steering rack, TRE's and sway bar bushings. The assembled coilovers and Bilsteins I got from suspensionlifts.com, which turned out to be a super awesome experience (back up in that link to see the whole S.L. ordering experience.) One thing about McGeorge is they use FedEx, so anything $500 or over requires signature confirmation, they will not drop it off so just be ready for that.

I just ordered a taillight assembly from toyotapartsdeal.com. It arrived two days ago in a cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap. I opened the box and immediately realized that I had ordered the wrong part so I replaced it in the box. The part appeared pristine and still does. I tried to return it but conveniently buried in their return policy was the fact that they do not accept returns on electrical parts! So with shipping and taxes I am out $158.29. This seems sleazy to me and I will never order from them again. I will sell it half price to anyone interested.

The only part I've ordered from toyotapartsdeal.com is a rear view mirror, which was a good price, and shipped fairly quickly. However, upon realizing during the installation process that my original mirror just needed a set screw tightened and I didn't need the new mirror after all. The return is in process, but may include a 20% restocking fee + return shipping. Just their policy...

Body/model/year/pic of the one ordered, P/N? If it's for a Taco I'm sure someone here needs it. :p

Each Toyota Dealer is independent they can give any amount of discount under list they desire.

This is quite simple your local Toyota dealer has over head to pay. The parts gets ordered in the part gets received in added to inventory . All takes time.

Which needs a extra % added to parts.

Most online Toyota vendors just order the parts out of what ever of the 6 USA Toyota distribution centers has the parts.

A few minutes online your part is on the way. Right to your address.

I was real lucky before I was hurt I was treated real well by my local dealer.

Nice to call on the phone and ask can you get this part. Then hear " I will try and let you know"

I only ever dealt with the parts manager. He said the other parts people were completely clueless on parts more then 5 years old.

I've never had any problems with any of the Toyota online parts listed in any of the above posts. I shop around and find the best price and best shipping. Doesn't really matter to me which vendor it is, They've all been reliable, and never received any "Fake" Toyota parts. Sounds like someone's. blowing smoke.

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer), Factory/TSB OEM rear leaf spring modification.
I used them one time to purchase a bed liner. Tacoma 5' bed mat: $75 with free shipping going on at the time. They emailed me to advise that the delivery might be delayed because they got so many orders for them due to the price and current free shipping when ordered through parts.toyota.com. I suspect part of that was word-of-mouth on this site. They offered to cancel the order which I declined. It was delivered within ten business days.

I’ve ordered from McGeorge, ToyotaPartsDeal, SparksParts…and several other dealer sites. Never had an issue with any of them, and all parts have been Toyota OEM. Must be lucky I guess.
