I finally got enough money for some new wheels but i am having trouble deciding what color to go with. I am pretty much set on the SCS SR8 wheels but I don't know what color would look better on my truck, the gunmetal or the matte jet black. I've looked around a bunch but I can't seem to find a good picture of a silver first gen with either of these wheels. Any input helps, Thanks.

    These are the gunmetal

    And then the black...

I would do gunmetal just because you can't drive a mile with out seeing a dozen trucks with black wheels, mine included but they didn't offer the color I wanted.

Black for sure. Silver on silver wouldn't look good you need to offset the color.

Gunmetal if you want to stand out more. Black if you want to be like me and about 10000000 others

I bet @SCSPerformance has porn.. I mean, pics to help you decide.

I have a silver T4R, and went with gunmetal Stealth 6s.

That's a stupid reason to not choose a color. There is a reason black is so popular.

Gunmetal. Its a big enough contrast that it doesn't match your truck and you can actually see the wheel.

Depends, do you care what others think? Are you trying to be unique on a truck that isn't unique? If so, then you are leaning toward the gunmetal.

Otherwise, just choose whichever color you like best. I think both will look good. I wouldn't pick a wheel based on what others are running. In your respective area, it is unlikely that you will run into one. TW concentrates all the modded tacos into one place, so you will see more black wheels and feel like a stupid plebeian. (I run black F5s, but only because I bought them for a steal; I personally want to change to gunmetal, thats just me)

I run a silver wheel. Not a stupid reason, its called originality, do something different from the crowd.

Youre an idiot. I chose the 3rd gen 4runner wheel because i like the way it looks. The OP asked for opinions and i gave one. This has nothing to do with my wheel choice

Not sure why your need to be a douchebag is so strong.

I like Gunmetal, even on a silver truck. There is a little black on those wheels as well.
