Going on a long Xmas road trip. Are there some good massage chair inserts that fit well in our trucks?

Understood, been here a while and gotta say this is the first time I have seen this topic come up. Usually, it's just the factory or aftermarket seat warmers.

Am planning on doing that next year, but need a quick fix. Probably just have to get a generic one, but if there's one that fits our seats better than another it'd be good to hear out it

But your link is the style I'm looking for

Then I wouldn't spend top dollar on one, but that may just be me. I would look at the sharper image one. A few of those look decent, just need to look at dimensions or may goto a local upholster and see if they can recommend good solution.

my 0.02, forgo the seat thing and buy a theragun or similar. I have two, the mini and elite, both work great. Pull over, stretch those legs, and get some real muscle work with these guns. Recharge while you drive, but tthe batteries are pretty impressive.
This coming from a bad back guy.
If i was to do anything, it would be seat heat. My wifes crosstrek has seat heat and that has made long trips bearable.

OP, are you asking this question to improve the seat comfort? If so do you have front seat jackers? This greatly helped ergonomics for me, especially lower back comfort (ymmv.)

I don't have anything on the seats atm. Are those the spacers for the seat brackets? If so, I've thought about but don't need em. I'm a short dude and ergonomics of the seat has never made me uncomfortable. It's mostly sitting in the same spot for a 900 mile drive, after a few hours or so my muscles just get a little achy

I have also done the seat mod by adding washers, longer bolts to the rear mounts, which helped immensely. The first upgrade I did was bilstein 5100's in the rear, an extra overload leaf and one inch block for my lift. This stiffened up the suspension and there was no more feeling like I was in a bouncy house.

Not sure a massage seat is really the best way to stay awake and alert while on a long drive.

Just get out every couple hours and walk around and stretch.

Cool and understandable. Since you have plenty of headroom you may not realize what your missing with having your legs more underneath you while sitting for hours (rather than stretched out in front of you like sitting on the floor). This was my biggest gripe when switching from a Chevy Tahoe to the Tacoma.. in stock form I felt like I was back in a 2001 honda civic with the seat/leg position.

On long trips, I have my wife massage by buttocks while I pump ⛽. Sometimes I trick her by turning 180.:anonymous:
