Anyone else run into this? I can't figure out exactly where it's coming from, it sounds like it's rolling behind the dashboard when I take a sharp turn quickly.

I had an aftermarket radio installed by a local shop a few months ago if it helps.

The dash behind our trucks is actually pretty solid. It sounds like they may had dropped something or a piece of plastic retainer for the harness got loose and is rolling around.

There’s a lot of ones where an installer will set screws on the top of the dashboard. Odds are they did and one fell down in the ac vents.

Yep, that was my thought. Turn the heater on high for an hour and see if that solves the problem.

I found one tied to a seagull once...true story.

Seriously though, found one tied to fishing line that a seagull had swallowed the hook to, so he was dragging around a 10mm socket, and some nuts. And my gf at the time chased after that mofo and tackled it, and we got the park ranger to come remove the hook. So we waiting on the park bench....holding our new seagull friend. XD Named that mofo Milly like, 10 "Milly"meter. XD

Probably a dumb question but are you sure it's in the CAB? Does it sound like it's rolling on plastic, or on metal? Any chance there is something rolling in the channel below your window (engine bay) under that shroud? If that's the case it would be a prominent metal sound versus plastic. Thoughts?

If not due to install, then remove the cabin filter and look in there. May have to drop the fan motor out 3 screws. Could be something dropped into the outside air vent intake area under the hood rear area plastic cover - pics on forum and yes squirrels and mice do get in there and leave stuff. Also rocks in the skid plates make same noise - been there removed many so after long gravel roads running at higher speeds I expect it as front tires throw rocks up underneath.
