Maintenance Required Light

I am at 12,731 miles...bought with 11,391. PO did an AMS Oil change at about 11k.
The Required Maintenance Soon light went to Required Maintenance today but, I cannot figure out what maintenance it's referring to. I assume this is some manufactures recommended fluid change or scheduled stealership visit. Please advise.

Every 4500 miles or so it will automatically illuminate. Just reset it and you're good to go.

 

What's the reset sequence?

Reset your light
If you want to be mileage anal.
Go to 15,000
Reset your light and rotate your tires.
Then you’ll be on the schedule

How do you reset the light?

 

trip a

turn key off.
Hold down the trip button.
Turn the key on only.
Keep holding the button
Dash lines will count down on the trip display till numbers appear again.
Done

 

Good question

1) Put truck in accessory mode
2) Push and hold the trip reset button (thing sticking out of the gauge cluster near the tachometer) into "TRIP A"
3) Turn truck off while holding in the trip reset button
4) Turn truck back on into accessory while holding in the trip reset button

Idk for certain if it works

 

yea don’t do 3 like that ..
Some People get pissed off when their trips Are at 0 when they get it back.
Some are very anal about checking mileages lol

You forgot the belly rub and head tap

 

This is what works on my 2018.

Turn the ignition switch to the “On” position, but do not start the engine

Press the ODOMETER button briefly until you see “TRIP A” on the display

Next, turn the ignition “OFF”

Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset button, and turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position

Continue to hold down the Trip Odometer Reset button until “000000” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off.

You can also reset the maintenance interval on your dash screen, without having to go the ACC route.
