I just cleaned my maf and noticed before hand that the screws heads seemed a little stripped but got them out and back in with no real problem. Anyways I want to just change the screws out and have found a couple different sizes they could be. But mostly find them being M4x.7x16 does that sound right?

Are you saying to replace them with that? That's not what mine are currently. They are phillips head of unknown-to-me dimension.

Would definitely change out from Phillips head drive if you can.

Pull one of the screws out and just bring it into what ever Mom & Pop hardware store is closest to you and match it up with a new one. Ive found often the little hardware stores have a better selection of not as common hardware.
I also vote getting rid of the Philips head if at all possible.

I found some at Autozone in the little fastener swivel stand. Way better than the goofy phillips head.

Phillips head screws are, in my opinion, the worst engineering idea ever on any part. The screw material has become so cheap, you are almost guaranteed to strip that damn thing requiring you to tap it out. The OEM starter I replaced is in great shape, I think, other than the wire between the solenoid and the starter, but those damn Phillips screws holding the thing together stripped immediately when I tried to yank them. So, a project for some day to replace those, clean up my OEM starter, and put it on the shelf as a stand by. Whenever possible, change them out for a hex head.
