Pretty simple, but effective. I'm sure I'm not the first person tho think of this...

Aluminum angle, 1" square tubing as spacers, 1/2" carriage bolts ground on two sides in the bed rail. All Stainless hardware except for the carriage bolts. Couldn't get them locally and didn't want to wait...

Finished product (except for plugs for the 1" tubing on the way)

Also replaced my Daylighters with the same 30" bar on the front using pretty much the same method on top of the grill bar.

Not a bad idea. I've been trying to figure out what to do with my 40" bar once my bumper gets here.

I dare someone to ride your ass down the road though. They would end up in the ditch lol. Where did you run the wires, into the cab or under?

I don't think the placement on the rear is going to help with backing a trailer.

It depends on what kind of trailer.....a flat bed then yes but a box trailer I could see it not working well.

Oh, I went the easy route. I ran the wires under the cab. The harness was actually JUST the right length.

Thank you, maybe two small brackets at the corners? Or, even better, one on each side of the rear of the bed. Using the same method, just in the side rails?
