You did nice work! You may even get some folks wanting you to make them for theirs. I like how you shaped it in a certain way too. Very nice!

Awesome build man! My question would be how do you get to the hood latch, my 02 has the latch just to the right of the toyota insignia in between on of those gaps, did you move it?

No bro I actually just stick a screwdriver or Ellen wrench in through the hole and push up. No biggie for me because I carry tools in my truck, makes it harder to get into for people who I don't want in there anyway. Thanks for checking it out though! Thanks man! I'd suggest you use thinner mesh than I did it will be quite a bit easier to shape. Although I do not regret using thicker material as it is stronger/tougher etc. Up to you. I'd like to see it when you're done go ahead and post a pic in this thread!

    Looks great.

With the stock chrome bumper I actually prefer the stock grille. But if I ever throw on a winch bumper I'm definitely making a Satoshi grille.

Where did you buy that particular mesh? That pattern looks way better than some of the others I've seen used for this mod.

I actually got it at a metal yard near me, way cheaper that way. I paid about 10 dollars for a 4ft by 1ft piece. It's 3/8ths perforated mesh. Not sure the gauge if I had to guess about 16. I agree though, initially I wanted to use a honeycomb mesh but the yard didn't have that shape and all the ones I saw online were either plastic or really thin (not to mention also like 40 bucks). Glad I found what I ended up using though as I think it looks really clean.

I put the raptor lights in too and retrofitted some morimoto projectors the other day, video coming on that soon, here's a picture. Also I've got a little TRD badge coming in that I'll put on it too. IMG_0794.jpg IMG_0795.jpg
