I work for the .Gov, and we have a demonstration coming up soon. In addition to using my truck to transport some gear, we are also going to use it as part of a static display during the demo.

I thought it would be cool if I mounted my replica M2 to the truck somehow for the display. Didn't want to spend the coin on a pedestal mount, so I just fabricated my own out of wood and PVC. I have it quick mounted to the UpTop roof rack, so we can take it on and off quickly. It's not sturdy enough to drive with it mounted, but will work fine for the display.

The replica M2 is just a man-cave toy. Can't afford the real thing, so this is as close as I'll get. Should be pretty cool at our demo. I'll post pics when it wraps up.

Probably a better idea would be to propose this question to the taliban.

Is that "Ma Deuce" to scale? Looks smaller than the real thing.

1/1 replica. metal core, resin. It does look pretty small mounted on the truck though.

    Best thread of the weekend.

One has not obtained orgasmic nirvana until they have squeezed the paddles on a M2

    Boo I say, boo.

One of those ideas that sound great in your head until it's realized. Just one guys opinion, but your tacoma is not military grade vehicle/hummer (even if is it called army green). Take it off, and don't use your civilian car as a demonstration vehicle.

DAMN! There are a lot of pics of Tacomas that have been modded, including mine, but man, I have to say that I am loving this one! I am in the San Francisco bay area, and I would love to be driving this around Oakland which is full of thugs and lowlifes! This reminds me of the old 60s tv show "Rat Patrol" although used jeeps in that. By the way, the entire Rat Patrol tv series is on Youtube for free! Watch it and you will see cool in action! But man, thanks for posting this. Totally awesome!

    Gunny,

That Diamondback has gotta come off, your poor machine-gunner has got nowhere to stand.

Also… bed mount that Ma-Deuce so he has a good field of fire. Cab mounts are for people who don’t plan ahead. Retain freedom of maneuver. Shoot! Move! Communicate!

    Do or die, Devil!

This truck... and the website... is no more. We had a little misunderstanding with our service provider and they tried to hold us up for ransom, so we opted out rather than pay them.
