I looked to see if this has been discussed and could not find anything. However, I did find this on lne and was wondering if anyone knows anything about M-force?

Also, has anyone tried loading the ecu map for the Lexus RC350 which is pushing 311 bhp out of the same engine?

There’s a whole lotta new comers to the tune market now. And no, if you load the RC350 map it doesn’t mean you’ll make the same power

Yeah, their site does not look like a newcomers site, but maybe it is. As for the RC350 tune not making as much out of the same engine, yeah, differences in exhaust and intake will certainly change hp/tq, but, considering the difference in power being more than 10%, I would say it might be worth a try and it is still a factory tune.

Here’s a little story about a tuner that we are no longer allowed to mention by name for fear of deletion. He put the Camry map in the Tacoma which makes about 315hp with the same engine. But the truck made less than 300hp. So it’s not the exact same engine. There is probably internal differences

If the designation(model number) is the same, it is likely that it is the exact engine, unless you know of other examples where there is a difference internally. But there may be external differences like I said above.

As for the thread you mentioned, it is impossible to search for that thread the way this forum's search engine works. Not user friendly.

Even if you do find the thread, that specific thread has over 1,000 pages of talk about tunes, people crying, people helping, etc. What you thought of is not an original thought. It has been attempted in the past and has always yielded less horsepower than expected/wanted

I never thought I would have been the first, just can't seem to find the thread you spoke of. Gonna look for it again.

So looked at that thread. Not much info really on that. One supposed test with no data done by someone who sells a competing tune. Not saying that there is something fishy, but certainly not independent.
