I'm not getting a 2021 Taco in "Moon Rock" until they have the inserts for the glove box in the same color!
    ...so there

I see the Pro/Limited is bi LED with halogen DLR I like the Bi LED setup but why the halogen DLR? I'd like to see the turn signal move to the DRL position with turn signal/DRL in amber like the Tacoma. I'm not a huge fan of LED DRL bars, but that's common place on modern vehicles. I think 4Runner buyers would like to see DRL bars that follow the top of the headlight housing.

Also 4Runner paint always looks better than Tacoma paint in the same color.

I think LR is one of those colors that has to be seen in person.

I haven’t had a good look or even seen half these colors in person. Everyone around me buys basic colors like super white, mgm, silver, black. Cement has been around since 2017 and I’ve only seen a few in person. I’ve never seen cavalry blue, Barcelona red (trd pro), army green, lunar rock. There’s one guy in my neighborhood with a voodoo blue Tacoma and that’s the only voodoo blue I’ve ever seen lmao

Do you do this yourself or do you get a detailing shop to do it? Places around here (CT/NYC) want several grand for a coating that only lasts a few years? What gives?

I've done it myself and had someone else do it. Couple grand is highway robbery even if its a higher end product. The biggest piece of the cost is the time put in to correcting the paint prior to coating. Despite the marketing hype most coatings will only last a few years, so don't buy into the lifetime warranty nonsense, every brand / product has certain characteristics too it, current truck I'm rocking CQuartz UK 3.0 which was designed for colder climates and salt exposure, other products like Gtechniq are more about the color presentation it gives. I'm guessing the companies you reached out to are pushing Ceramic Pro which they do have set pricing they recommend for their installers, Silver I think starts at $1200 and so forth. You honestly shouldn't pay more than that for a decent paint correction and quality 9H type product. Every product is different with install, some are a nightmare for DIY some are super easy to apply, for less than $100 you could easily DIY if you have detail equip/tools. Several grand you might as well wrap or PPE the entire truck at that point.

Yup, these shops push the pro. On a brand new vehicle with less than 500 miles pricing starts at 1500. At these prices, might make sense for the exotics, but at that point just go buy a new Ferrari.

I’ll look into the application process for what you have - listed around $50.

6 year old paint up here in Saltachusetts. Ceramic Coating is awesome.

The fact that the RAV4 has had Lunar rock color for a few years now has ruined it for me. It doesn’t seem like an exclusive Tacoma color unfortunately.
