Where can I buy/order this correct lug nut key? 2017 SR5 with TRD pro wheels, truck came like this from the previous owner. Hoping I can order one on Amazon, but I haven't seen which one I need. Called a Toyota dealer, they said I would have to order one for $25.

Does the previous owner have it? Ask him & tell him he forgot to give it to you! Getting one from toyota is way faster than Amazon now a days

    That's a unique pattern.

If Toyota can order the key that matches for $25, that's better than having to rip those lug nuts off and buying new locking lug nuts.

Check your spare tire jack kit. Sometimes people throw the key in the bag with the tire iron. If you’re lucky, the key is in the truck somewhere.

if not, you’ll have to buy one from Toyota. They sell kits that have all the different variations of those locks but they run well over $100 last I checked. $25 for the specific one you need is a small price to pay honestly.

Vise grips can sometimes work getting them off depending on how tight they were installed.

18mm or 19mm sometimes can be hammered on and bust it with a breaker bar. Get the sockets at the pawn shop, in the box of crap no one buys. Or, this most awesome snapon kit for $250...lol.

Those things are nothing but a hassle to the owner; only a few seconds delay to thieves and a shop.

Locking lugs are more of a feel good item, than one that offers true security. I had some Gorilla locking lugs. Didn’t slow them down at all.

If it’s toyota OE, they have a master kit.

Last I checked there was only like 20 of them.

FYI - Toyota part numbers for wheel locks. (I had ordered the wrong type from Toyota and they reached out with the following clarifications.)

"TRD wheels with spline drive lug nuts only, Part No. PTR27-34061

    Stock wheels, Part No. 00276-00901"

Check your lug kit under the seat, the compartments under and behind your back seat, and the glove box. Those are the places I’ve usually found those pieces when someone can’t find them

The previous owner doesn't have it and I have not seen one in the truck. I'll just order one from the dealer. I want to get black lug nuts (have had good luck with Gorilla in the past) with no locks. Is this possible, or do the 1 locking nut per wheel have to stay (if they are not on a stud?)?
If Gorilla is the best brand to go with, what size/part number/kit do they offer for my 2017 (2wd)? Haven't been able to find what I need from their site yet

Look in the pouch that the owners manual comes in, if it's there. Look for a card from McGard. They sell the replacement keys. If you have the card, there is an id # you give them and they can get you a new key.

I want to like your post, but that's disgusting. As a person who grew up in a shitty neighborhood and had multiple car break-ins and complete thefts, this strikes a nerve.

Sorry, bro. Looks like you got some free body damage with that theft too.

$7k in damages. Cost me $66 for 11 days of rental car. $0 deductible comprehensive, FTW.
State Farm cut me a check for the wheels and tires.
I cooked more than $66 in tires off the rental. So it was a wash.

I'll check in my truck again, but the owners manual didn't come in my truck when I got it and the previous owner did not have it. I ordered one on eBay.
Went to a Toyota dealer who told me over the phone it would be $25 to order the key. First they told me I need to have the truck there (I was on a bike). After I Google searched the part number provided above, I showed them this:
    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~trd~12mm~lock~lugnut~ptr27-34061.html
Assuming this is the correct tool I need (don't need the locks) they said it would cost $70.

That looks like a Mcgard key. You may get lucky on eBay and find a cheap one.

I had this issue with my Tacoma and Lexus. I bought a couple of 19mm 12 point sockets and hammered them onto the lug nut and the used a breaker bar. Removed 8 of them that way no damage just difficult to remove lug from socket once it is off.
