Yup, know LPS products very well. Was a sales rep for them for years. LPS 1, 2, & 3 (with 3 being the Rust Inhibitor) are petroleum based products. #3 is mixed with a waxy/paraffin additive that does not do well in an outdoor automotive application. Primarily used for long term storage of ferrous metal parts. Also used in aircraft parts storage. Works great for that application, but since it never really dries or cures, it can accumulate debris pretty quickly. Great stuff for it's intended application(s). I would opt for the Fluid Film simply based upon the info available on the website and my knowledge of LPS 3. Good luck.

Good stuff... used it on the frames of the cargo bays at Boeing.

Yup, typical application. Great for long term storage or relatively clean environments. No direct sun/rain/snow.

@cwdog ....you sound knowledgeable. You should do a basic product comparison thread for rust inhibitors, etc.
