Yeah I mean you could always cut your front springs... not very safe but unless you drive really fast shouldn’t be an issue

lowering a prerunner is going to be fairly difficult. Is your truck stock height currently? These trucks are pretty short stock

Nerf bars or sliders would give people a step up into the cab. I'd be more inclined to do that than alter the ride height.

Thanks for the feed back. i am already starting to work on the nerf bar steps but would still like to lower the truck. looks like no one makes a lowering kit for the Toyota Tacomas'. looking at the diff area I am not totally sure if it is possible to lower it without causing other issues. So I may have to, like you said-- forget it.

No don't do that, don't forget it! Maybe you could swap axle housings with a 5 lug and put 6 lug axles in it? Are Prerunners 5 lug or 6?

Not for the 6 lugs, no.

If you have a 2wd pre-runner and it's too high, sell it and get a 5 lug.

Or get a step stool, lol.

FWIW, my wife is 5'1" and can get in my lifted 4x4 with minimal effort.
