Hey everyone, so I was pressing in my new bushings into my lower control arm and the outer bushing sleeve bent. I was wondering if this will be an issue? Thanks for the help.20190301_141907.jpg 20190301_141846.jpg

Likely be fine, remember a massive fucking bolt holds it all together. It looks cracked in the second pic but I don't see any reason to be worried.

It's certainly not ideal but good learning process.

Quick tip for next time, try placing the new bushings in the freezer over night, this makes them smaller and easier to install.

Take a hammer and straighten it back out as long as it isn't cracked.

As long as it is pressed all the way in and not crooked, you should be fine. From the pics it doesn't look like it is pressed in all the way (??). Bend it back and make sure it's pressed in all the way and you should be fine.

I will try to press it back out and even it out. I think it not being even created the bend. I just thought it might mess with the alignment. But now that I think of it, it should not because its on the inside of alignment cam plate, if that's a thing.

Do NOT press it 'back out' and press it in again. It's a press-fit for a reason, and one time use in that regard.
