    Hi all,

Just got back from off roading in Ocotillo Wells and noticed my lower ball joint boots were leaking grease on both sides. What’s the fix for this? Or is this normal? I’m not sure.

    Thanks!

Wipe the grease off and check for torn boots. If the boots are torn, they should be replaced.

On a serviceable ball joint this is normal. There are usually some holes for venting when greasing. So if it has a zerk fitting you're good. If it is not serviceable and has no zerk fittings then that is an indication that it is torn. The nonserviceable ball joint boots do not have holes.
