Has anyone dealt with this? If so what can I do to make it stop? I know the first thing I should do is "do a search" however I'm not able to on my phone. Thanks for any responses!! Except the ones that will tell me to search, lol jk

I have recentl developed something similar. Sounds like a whining belt but only after a certain speed.

    Accelerating/decelerating?

If you are sitting still in park and you rev the motor, does it make the whine?

ok, after listening and looking alot, it seems to be coming from the fan area. Perhaps a pulley? it is loud whether it is parked and running or accelerating.

    It's probably an idler bearing.

Wouldnt the idler pulley bearing cause a bounce in the belt if it was failing???

Mine would screech for a few minutes on start-up then would stop.

It did for about a week, then snapped the belt. Then it was real easy to find the bad idler. It was the one that was frozen up.

My wife whines sometimes when I accelerate too quickly.

    Maybe something similar for you?
