    Hello
I’m pretty sure I’ve read about the remedy for this issue here somewhere but I’ve given up searching for it and thought I’d just post instead.
I just installed 4 new door speakers, tweeters, and a subwoofer with a 5 channel amp in my 2022 Tacoma. Now, when I have my phone plugged in, the notification sounds are VERY LOUD and I can’t figure out how to lower them. The other vehicle chimes are also very loud.
Does anyone know how to remedy this? Please help!

I’m pretty sure you can change those sounds in the radio menu

phone chime loudness should be able to be set in the phone. android at least, 12 or higher, ties volume to bluetooth connections.

I had a non JBL unit and the settings are there…just got to find them. They’re in a frustratingly non intuitive place and I’ve have had trouble finding them just after adjusting them. Truly bad menu interface. Now that I have an aftermarket HU, it’s very easy.

You were correct! They were there and the issue has been resolved. You were also correct about the bad interface. It took me a couple minutes but I finally found what needed to be adjusted. Thanks for the help!
