So I lost the keys to this lock. I bought the exact same item again hoping to use the new keys to unlock this one, but for some reason it won't unlock.

The only things running through my mind now are to go to a fabrication shop in hopes that they can maybe cut this thing off. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Had to cut mine off with an angle grinder. Good luck.

Cut it off is the simple answer, or you could try to pick the lock.

Hopefully your Storm Trooper won't impede the grinding. Didn't notice the clearance issue when I suggested the grinder, but it is the best way. I tried picking my lock, but same as you I had a decorative place holder and thus hadn't used my hitch for some time. It was sized up big time, even with a rubber cover over the lock. Might as well cut your fenders out for 35's while you got the grinder in hand.

Grinder would fix any issue in that pic. Get someone to hold one side with a pair of pliers and grind the other side. If stormtrooper is in the way then the grinder will take care of it too.

You guys are horrible thieves. A few sharp raps with a hammer has those off real easy. They work with 3 ball bearings that grip a kerf in the pin. Once you get that pin a tiny bit bent the ball bearings are useless. It will come right off.
