So over the past couple days I have noticed a loping grind in my front end. Feels like it is coming from my driver side front. It can be felt in the steering wheel and floor board. It is almost like my tires is rubbing the fender well. But my tires are no where near rubbing so rules that out. The lope goes away around 45-50 mph. Slower I go the more noticeable it is. Braking and acceleration does not change the noise. I did put it in 4wd and the noise went away. Took it out of 4wd and it went away. Drove to work this morning and it came back. I did drive through some puddles (small puddles at trash site) the other day possible some grit or grime in something and grinding. My suspicion is needle bearing. I was not able to find where anyone had the same loping with their grind. Truck is lifted 3 inches on 285’s for information sake. Thought, opinions, insight, all are greatly appreciated.

My thoughts as well. I did one on my 2nd gen too so luckily all I need is the bushing.

Looks like you have a lift over 2” which would be a culprit. It’s a relatively easy fix, especially if you’ve done it before.

Sorry to revive your thread but did your problem go away with this? I did my bushing swap and the grinding has since come back
