I know the horns are located in the grille area. This object is mounted on the passenger side fender up near the firewall. It has a diaphragm like a horn. Does anyone know what is it?

That look like the horn the alarm system uses. Typically on inside like this so it can't be cut.

It's for the alarm (the little chirp you hear when you lock/unlock). It's also possible to turn-off this feature through settings in the stereo (I think, I turned the sound off on mine literally the day after I bought my Taco).

Are you able to make it sound somehow? Maybe leave your phone next to it while recording and start pressing buttons on the fob. Maybe it’s the buzzer for when you try to lock doors but ones open? Odd.

The buzzer has a yellow wire and a white with black wire. It's the security horn.

Regular Horns are in front of the radiator(black round things)
Lock/unlock beeps are a grey chime box behind radiator support (drivers side)
Little black “horn” in OP post(pass side fenderwell)is the security alarm.

The two statements are correct so I believing the third. But when I tested to see if I had an alarm, and I do, the horns went off but maybe that was going off also. I’ll try it again.

Man, i bought a aftermarket alarm and he come with open trunk button.
I was thinking use this useless wire to connect in the security Horn to find my car sometimes...
You know where this system is wired behind the dash?
