that's a charger only. he's looking for a passthrough, which would be a female usb c within it, but have a male usb c plug coming off of it to go to a different device. there's not much for pass through's at all. best bet would be a custom adapter plate on something like mercari, or etsy.

Correct. I need just a passthrough, not a charger. I want to use the USB C off the back of my new stereo, and I want it to look factory. The only thing I have found thus far is an adapter for the factory USB/Aux port, which I do not want. I suppose I could use that and a USB-A to USB-C cable to make that work. It seemed lame to jump back and forth between A and C, and I'm unsure if there is any power issue charging at C rates doing it that way.

no, it's hokey to do it that way.

usb A won't support more than 1A @5v max. the official usb C standard can charge anywhere from 5-48v and up to 5A depending on the cable and devices.

Oh duh, I wasn't even looking at those being pass thru or simply charging.

I also think if you do the A to C change you will inadvertently make your USB C port directional and only work one way.

There is one solution, but kind of sucks the Batige solution via your cigarette Lighter - oh wait a second, they do offer a square version, so maybe it won't totally suck:
