    Hey guys,
I'm looking for fridge slide that pulls from the side. I need to fit my Iceco VL45 sideways in my bed so was hoping to find an inexpensive slide solution.
I only see Tembo/National Luna side pull fridge slides but they are close to $500.

Anybody DIY a side pull fridge slide?

Super easy to build, I bought slides on Amazon, and cut up an old twin bed frame I had in the garage. It was easy to do and worked great for many years. If you do go the DIY route, you save a pretty good chunk of change, but make sure to get locking slides, makes things easier when it locks closed and open as well.

I know it's 500.00, but I REALLY like the Tembo one. It's built very well and clearly made to last.

My buddy had a tembo tusk, they are definitely very high quality and work well. I never say something is too expensive because, who am I to say that about what people charge for their product, but there are certain things that definitely just cost more than what I am willing to spend. I struggle to put a $450 fridge on a $500 slide haha. That's my issue to deal with

I've had a Tembotusk (for a Snomaster fridge) in a Jeep for about five years. It works great, pulls out, slides in, locks in place, been in dusty environments, totally worth the money. And American made.
