I recently changed my rear catalytic converter on my 2001 Tacoma V6 3.4L. The metal hanger bracket that connects the cat. to the rubber support rings on the old was almost rusted through. I would like to replace it. Does anyone know the part number for a catalytic converter hanger bracket? (Circled in the only image I could find with that part). Thank you in advance.2011-09-18_231609_pic.jpg

it's part of the piece that the cat is on, welded on to be exact.

Thank you for the reply but, mine was not welded on. It was put on with some kind of push rivets or something. I was able to get the old one off by drilling out the rivets. There is a welded piece for this part to attach to on the old and the new cat has that welded piece. It's a circular bent tube that attaches to the welded piece on the cat. and then connects to the rubber support rings. I just used some bolts, but the actual hanger bracket is very thin at the bolt holes due to rust. In the attached pic, the blue arrow points to the welded piece on the cat and the red arrows point to the bracket I would like to replace. Again, thank you.catbracket.jpg

    Rob,
If you are in upstate ny, like me, then you know all about rust. That is the part I'm looking for. Little pricey for a bent tube but, at least I now have a part number and can continue my search. Thank you very much.

hmm, after 13 years I'd just assumed it was welded. rust has made every other bolt/nut impossible to distinguish so mine is probably shot :(
