    Hey Guys!

Recently picked up my 2nd Tacoma ever, this time a 2021 TRD Off-Road. Very first thing I am doing is getting rid of the chrome.

I have seen the overlay packs on various websites but they all seem to have the letter A filled in.

Do any of you have a link or know of a place to get overlays that have the A cut out? I have read that the filled in A is pretty noticeable on white trucks, so hoping to avoid that. I am also open to just taking the chrome emblem off with some fishing line and replacing them with black ones.

I am looking for overlays/emblems for both Tacoma emblems, the 4x4 emblem, and the V6 emblem. Something with the "6" cutout on the V6 emblem would be ideal.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Replace the emblems, you’ll be happier.

De-badge it. Hair dryer and fishing line or floss. Easy job.

    I'll go the opposite route.

Buy a standard overlay and a Dremel. Trim to your heart's desire.

I've got black overlays on my Quicksand. No cutout for the A. Looks great, no issues. Who cares?

Horsepower cares. Knocking the center out of the A adds 15-20 horsepressures right off the bat.

He prefers an exposed A-hole... can't stand those covered A-holes. Don't judge!

Now, wanting a hole at your 6... that's disgusting.

Any recommendations on where to buy replacement badges? There are a ton of options out there. Hopefully one of y'all has bought and tried some out so that I know they actually work. Would hate to buy something and see it fall apart a few months later.

This is probably asking too much, but any of y'all know of a pack that has the V6, 4x4, and both tacoma badges? That would be the lottery. If not, buying them individually is good enough.

And yeah guys the exposed A hole is very important to me. I went to Talladega once and it changed me. Will forever be an exposed A hole guy.

You have to replace the badge with a black one. Be advised the 2nd Gen looks different and is smaller than the 3rg gen badges.

I put these 3rd gen badges on a few years ago, picked up from a seller on Ebay but his specific link is no longer active.

You can also order black OEM badges

I purchased my replacements on EBay, probably 4 years ago, and they’re still looking as good as the day I put them on. Make sure you measure the size of the factory badges so you know you’re purchasing the correct ones. I believe that you can purchase replacement V6 & 4x4 badges as well.
