I am Putting a tonneau on next week and would like to see how you store gear in the bed. With the lack of storage behind the back seat and under the seats I am looking for ideas of how items (tiedowns, tire pump, tools, etc.) could be stored. I could use Rubbermaid bins, but I am sure there are better ideas out there.

All my tie downs go in the bins under the rear seat. Tools live in a front runner Wolfpack box. They used to live behind the rear seats in a BROG tool bag until i did a seat delete.

My tie downs go in the bed cubby that the 2020's dont come equipped with unfortunately. My air inflator and grocery bags go behind the rear seat. Jumper cables, breaker bar, and torque wrench all go under the rear seat.

If you want to store stuff in the bed, an Amazon trunk organizer works wonders for the small stuff, a contico hard plastic box for large stuff.

The smaller bed is 30 sq ft if you want to use the whole thing.

I have the JBL system so I lost the biggest part of my storage. Still not sure is JBL is worth the storage loss.

I use aa Plano box and made a few brackets to mount my jack and shovel out of the way. I also have a mount for my traction boards that I bought on TW a while back.

I now have 3 milk crates strapped across my bed. They're obviously not water-tight!

My "emergency" equipment....jump starter, first aid kit, Mikita tire inflator, LED flare kit....go in the compartment behind the rear seat. Work gloves, a Mag Lite, and some basic tools under the rear seat. In the bed are my adjustable hitch and pins, recovery strap, and shackle hitch receiver, all in their own carry bags. I also have a cargo net that I got from Amazon for everyday toting like groceries, etc. Makes life much easier and keeps me from chasing groceries around the back of the truck: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JD945LY?ie=UTF8. Also got a rachet cargo bar for when I need to keep stuff from sliding around: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AZ9KS?ie=UTF8. I don't off-road or camp so this is all I need to stay organized.

I keep 2 plastic boxes with lids in the back all the time. One is for jack, tie downs, etc. I do a lot of shooting and the other one carries all my range gear except for bullets and weapons. I still have a lot of room in the back for other items when needed.

Edited 12-19: I've had several folks wanting to see my setup. Photos are below.

The chains see on each side gives me extra security in locking the factory flip back cover.

With the rubber floor mat in place, nothing slides around. Very easy to unload if a large object or wood needs to be hauled. All my range items are in the front box. Tie downs, jack, etc are in the back box.

I have that exact same Plano Sportsman box in mine too lol. I thought I was the only cheapo ….errr thrifty one with one around here. Picked it up on clearance from Home Depot for about $15 bucks.

I like your bed bar….I am just using bungee cord to secure mine. :)
