Hey everyone. Looking for something affordable for my 2015. Here is what I got:
    2015 Tacoma TRD Off-Road (2WD w/ Locker)
    Lift 2in Front, 1.5in Rear
17x8.5 tires w/ -10 offset (not yet mounted)

Looking for new ALL TERRIAN tires in 285/70 or 275/70. I have no fear of going with a "generic" tire company, just want them to have that aggressive look of Falken AT3 or ko2. I bought Falken AT3 when they first came out and were dirt cheap and had no reviews available anywhere (honestly can't believe they are more expensive than ko2's now).

    Any recommendations?

The last set of tires I bought for mine were Cooper Discoverer A/T3's. I bought them 7 years ago, have put close to 80,000 miles on them, and they still have life left. I got them on Ebay through Discount Tires when they were offering a $200 discount, and were shipped to me for a total price of about $620. They might not be as aggressive looking as the ones you listed, but they'll definitely fit the "affordable" part of your line.

For a generic tire company, consider looking into Dilente Tires (Light Truck | Delinte Tires). A buddy of mine has a wholesale tire business here and he sells these to all the small one-off shops in my area.

I honestly cannot recommend the Pathfinder Pathfinders (from discount tire) enough. I have been thoroughly impressed with them on and off the road in various conditons.

I appreciate the responses. On my last rig (2015 4runner) I put DynaPro AT2 on new wheels and always regretted not going with a more aggressive tire profile. I'll pay more for the "look"

Check out Craigslist in your area for the Falken AT3 285's, lots of Jeep Rubicon take off for sale there. Majority of them are practically brand new in my area, worth taking a look.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I picked up 5 new Ko2 285 70 17 C load takeoffs from a guy with a new Rubicon, he went 37s right away Stt Pro coopers.
I paid $900 Cdn for them so like $700 your bucks. Great way to save some cash.

285 will rub with that offset and only 2” of lift make sure to get as much caster as possible when you align it. The 275s might even rub a bit. As @reallifedog mentioned the Pathfinder by discount is a great tire. I’ve run those on my wife’s 4Runner for years with zero issue.

Yea I was a little concerned about the 285's, so I ended up getting 255/80's last night. Got a decent deal on some Falkens (still overpriced in my mind). I already removed my mudflaps and can cut/push the fender/bumper if needed. I wont be doing CMC or pinch weld hammering, I'll just live with the rub if the tires are too big.

I really like my Kenda Klever RT 33x10.50R17's, they are heavy though. They are a little louder than my previous Goodyear Duratracs, but it's not like mud tire loud. The Kenda's are decently priced compared to others and if you are ok with the weight, then it might be a decent option. Only problem with 33's, 285's, 275's or 255/80 is that you'll need to get a 5th tire for the spare since there is about 3" OD difference from the OEM spare tire.

The 285's will rub if you start compressing the front suspension while turning due to the width. 255/80's and 33x10.50's won't rub or if it does, it will be very minimal.

Here's mine with the Kendas and about the same amount of lift as you have. 6112's front, B110 5100's rear with OME Dakar leaf springs.

Well for anyone wondering I found the perfect tire, the Falken Rubitrek. They can pretty much only be found online. I got a set for dirt cheap on eBay 265/70/17 delivered for under 770. Love the aggressive look and they are about 10lbs lighter than the Wildpeaks since these are NOT LT tires. Check it out

    This is my 2015 now
Rough Country 2in Loaded Strut (rides like factory)
    1.5in Pro Comp Block
17x8.5 FSW 2021 TRD pro wheels (-10 offset)

No rub once I took off the comical front mud flap. I wanted to go with a taller tire but very few companies make them, happy with how it turned outIMG_0451.jpg IMG_0452.jpg IMG_0444.jpg IMG_0443.jpg IMG_0440.jpg

I've been eyeballing the Rubitrek's as well. Need something to replace my Geo 015's. How's the feel and rolling resistance?

For a decent all around AT I like the Cooper Disco AT3. I have a set but they do seem to have a bit more rolling resistance. Good tire though
