    Hello TW,

Well, water rationing has increased in Puerto Rico where I am currently stationed. We are going to 24 hours with water, then 48 hours without, 24 on, 48 off, ect.

I'm looking for a product that can give my wife and I the closest thing to a normal shower on days when the water is off. We've been using the fillable solar bag but there is no sun at night, so it lends to a freezing shower in the morning.

Is there a shower product that is electrically heated, has a tank on board, or can be attached, and can fit in our existing shower area? Any leads would be great. I checked Amazon but most were either solar heated, or were tankless, which won't work for us. Not worried about the price as this water rationing is supposed to be in effect until December.

    Thanks!

No Cabela's in Puerto Rico unfortunately. Propane is an idea though. I don't mind showering outside, I'll have to ask the wife if she would haha.

Do you have a Bass Pro?

This shower seems it might work for you.

image.jpg I bought this from bass pro, but you can order it online from them or Amazon. It's called the Zodi Extreme SC.
It takes only a couple minutes to setup. It has a thermometer on the side which shows you how hot the water is getting while on the burner, once it reaches 100 degrees it's perfect and only took about ten minutes to heat up 50 degree water to 100. Surprisingly doesn't use that much propane and it breaks down into a small duffel bag. The shower tent was an extra item. The burner can also double as a camp stove. Love it. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Haha I'm with you on that. I bought it mainly so my girlfriend could be more comfortable while we're tent camping.

Nothing wrong with tankless. It's just nice to have a sealed tank that only requires pumping it up manually vs. requiring batteries. It also heats up very quickly with the propane burner.

We have no water pressure when the water is turned off. A tankless water heater requires pressure.

I have a NEMO helio shower that i use for camping. You pump it up with your foot. If you want it to be hot heat some water and pour it in. Might be a little more basic than you're looking for
