Behind the lower grill? You can only mount up to a 32" bar. Typo maybe? :notsure:

I have a 42" mounted in the lower grill. Just made a custom bracket from 2" wide by 1/8" aluminum and it fits mint!

    Very interested to see..

    I believe this is a 30" bar..I cannot fathom a 42" bar fitting there:

Mine is mounted in behind the grill and sits along the aluminum bumper support. Fills the whole gap with light!

Looks like what I have. It's a vision x evo prime clone. Single row 10 watt leds. They're awesome. I have a 42,20, and two 8" of these. Found on eBay. Spread and usable light is just amazing. Especially with a roof bar.

Seeing as you have an '09, I do not see a way you can mount a "42 light bar in the bumper. For reference, attached is a pic of my 40" light bar mounted to my roof rack. You can see that it pretty much spans the width of the cab. You will have better luck with a 30" or 20"image.jpg
