Looking for advice about code p0600

2006 Tacoma v6 Automatic
Where can I buy the right vehicle speed sensor
Check engine light code p0600
Got to get truck inspected
Please help!

I'm asuming you mean P0500?
There is no vehicle speed sensor on Automatic trucks, the vehicle speed comes from the rear wheel speed sensors via the ABS module through the instrument cluster.

Does your speedometer work?
If it doesn't then you need to diagnose your ABS problems first.

If the speedometer works consistently but your still getting the P0500 code the problem is likely the instrument cluster, you can follow the diagnostic steps in the post I linked to below to verify.

I know of one person that did a work around to bypass the circuit in the instrument cluster and it seems to work so that is another option.
